Summer vacation. At last. Time to shoot.

I am going tree weeks off to the west coast of Norway where I will shoot thousands of pictures of a stunning place. There are an abundance of stunningly beautiful places in this world. We see many of them here on dA. Those magnificent landscapes in Turkey. The mysterious and captivating scenery in Iceland. The fabulous coastline and sweeping moors of Great Britain. The windmills in Sweden. Sunsets in South Africa. And so on. The beauty of mother earth. Each country, each place has its gems, its pearls, its diamonds waiting for us photographers to shoot.

My gem, my pearl is the west coast of Norway. I love the place. My pulse drops. My smile broadens. I feel harmony. Karma. Peace. The time runs slower. And I find time. Time for photography. This is my diamond. I will shot it, and share with you. Now, you all go on and do the same. Share YOUR gems with us.

I will find time for the kids. Out of the disharmony caused by our consumption oriented society where success is measured in objects, not happiness. During these precious weeks the values are not commodities, but family, friends and nature.

I like dA. The artists here inspire me! I am stunned by the amount of talent here. Such an enormous amount of great art! WOW. Fantastic. I log on almost every day, and every day I find at least one great piece of art. Some days even a lot of great shots! Fantastic!

But the best part is, these artists are great people! Friendly, nice, gentle, loving! Will miss you these week. I think...
